Leonardo da Vinci was born in Anchiano, a small town just outside Vinci, in a stone house in the heart of a stunning Tuscan landscape. Here you can travel to discover the history of the Tuscan genius, his life and his territory; after that you can visit the Museum of Leonardo in the centre of Vinci! Hosted in the two sites of the Palazzina Uzielli and the Castle of the Counts Guidi, it is one of the largest and most original collection of machines and models by Leonardo the Inventor. Each reproduction is presented with specific references to the artist’s sketches and handwritten notes. The exhibited machinery belong to different fields of study.
